How much will labour cost?
Labour costs will depend on where you shop and can vary from $200 to $2000, depending on how much time and modification is required. We suggest contacting your local mechanic or tuning shop for rate quotes. We also do not suggest you get just any mechanic - try to find someone who has done it before and is confident they know what they are doing. Some engines swaps can be done very simply and do not require more specialized help. JSA offers installation guides for many engine swaps that can help in the installation of your engine. View our tech center for our installation guides.

Can I install the engine myself or should I pay someone to do it?
If you are a mechanic and know what is required to install your engine, go right ahead. Otherwsie we suggest you hire someone to do the installation. Most of the time it is much better to pay a little more but you will be sure to have a good job done and with no headache.
